Man dies from injuries following officer-involved shooting in Roy

ROY, Utah — The Roy Police Department says that 46-year-old Jeremy Lundgreen died Tuesday morning after an officer-involved shooting in Roy over the weekend.
Police say they tried to pull over Lundgreen on Saturday, August 17. He was wanted for enticing a minor.
Police say Lundgreen was initially cooperative, but ultimately decided to flee. He was caught by police around 5650 South and 2775 West.
He allegedly started firing shots at the officers. Officers fired back and eventually hit Lundgreen. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave while the Weber County Attorney’s Office continues its investigation.
