Nothing beats a hot day in the water, and there are no better places to spend the rest of the hot summer than at a waterpark!

Cowabunga Bay is one of Utah’s premier water parks. It features thrilling water slides, a lazy river, a kids’ cove, and a beach with lounge chairs. It’s the perfect place to soak in the sun and stay cool, offering fun for the whole family.

Frequently asked questions about visiting Cowabunga Bay

Below are some frequently asked questions so you can prepare everything you need to spend your time at Cowabunga Bay.

Do you need a reservation?

Nope. Just show up when you are ready to splash!

The park has two open sessions: the morning session runs from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and the afternoon session runs from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What kind of savings do you get with a season pass?

If you plan to visit the water park three or more times, a season pass offers savings over purchasing a day pass. Cowabunga offers two types of season passes, which include discounts on food, merchandise, and cabanas. The standard pass is good for one person, where the plus pass allows you to bring a guest.

Right now, Cowabunga Bay is holding a Season Pass Sale. For a limited time, you can purchase a 2025 season pass and receive the rest of the 2024 season included in the cost. Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable and must be redeemed at the Draper, UT location. This offer expires in September, so take advantage of these savings while you can!

Outside food and drink are not permitted in the park, except for bottled water. Snacks, drinks, and food can be purchased at the Cowabunga Island Grille. You’ll find standard grill food like burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and fries, as well as a variety of delicious salads, fish tacos, and sandwiches.

What kind of parking is available?

Parking is free and plentiful at Cowabunga Bay.

Are there lockers at the park?

Lockers are available for a rental fee of $8 for a small locker or $10 for a large locker. Renting gives you access to the locker for the entire time you visit the park.

Are there group rates for corporate events or large groups?

Cowabunga Bay is happy to host family reunions, school outings, and corporate events. Call the group sales director at 801-913-8382 for more information.

Are the cabanas available to rent?

Cabanas are available to settle into a private paradise and give yourself a VIP experience. The cabanas include assistance from friendly servers trained to ensure your experience is one you will long remember. They feature a 10×10 shaded area capable of being closed on three sides with comfortable seating for up to 8 guests.

As a season pass holder, you can enjoy a 10% discount on VIP cabanas. Plus, their simple pay-at-the-end system ensures a convenient and hassle-free stay. To reserve your cabana today, call 801-553-1000.
