Motorcyclist died after crash in St. George

ST. GEORGE, Utah — A 19-year-old man has died after being involved in a motorcycle crash on Friday in St. George.
St. George Police Department said in an Instagram post that the accident included a car and happened at 5:10 p.m.
According to police, the motorcyclist was driving southbound on 2450 East with reports of traveling at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle then crashed into a car that was making a left turn.
Police said in the post that the motorcyclist died from his injuries and the driver of the car has injuries. There was no statement made on the status of the driver.
“This crash is under investigation,” the post said. “Our sincere condolences to everyone affected by this tragedy.”
