19-year-old dead after rollover crash in Vernal

VERNAL, Utah — A 19 year old is dead in Vernal after a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon.
Utah Highway Patrol says at around 12:17 p.m., the man and an 18-year-old woman were in a Honda Sedan traveling westbound on SR-40, mile post 136.
The car drifted left, crossed the center line and crashed into a metal barrier. The car then rolled down an embankment and both occupants were ejected.
The 18-year-old female was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
