Crash involving a stolen car closed down SR-201

MIDVALE, Utah — Police say a stolen vehicle was stopped on state Route 201 and Bangerter Highway Monday afternoon.
Unified Police Department says the car was stolen around 1100 East and 7200 South in Midvale, before continuing onto SR-201. Police say they spiked the vehicle, causing the car to crash.
Police say the driver was a woman around 45 years old. She was sent to the hospital after the crash with minor injuries.
SR-201 was closed for about an hour near the crash while police investigated.
